Mud Pie

How to Make a Mud Pie

Ingredients: 250grams broken biscuits
175grams butter
125grams caster sugar
125grams mixed dried fruit
1tablespoon cocoa powder
1 chocolate bar (for topping)
Chocolate strands (optional)

Method:
Take a saucepan, put the butter in and melt it with a wooden spoon over a heat. (Don't get it too hot, just melt it)
Take the saucepan off the heat, then add in the cocoa powder and caster sugar. Next, add in the mixed dried fuits and broken biscuits.
Mix it all up!
Put aluminium foil in a 20centimetres in diameter cake tin. Pour in the mix.
Press it down gently to make it flat and place it in the fridge for about 2 hours.
Take out the pie and pour the muddy topping* on top of the pie.
Spread it out and scatter some chocolate strands over the pie.

*Muddy Topping:
Pour some very hot water into a bowl and place another bowl on top of it.
Break up the chocolate bar and place it in the top bowl.
Let the heat melt it.
