Feminism and Johnnys' Associates

There isnt much stuff interesting in school today but I met another ARASHI fan in school today!^^ What's more, she's from the same class as me! She also liked Ohno the most among the five! I only knew it today during PE lesson when she asked me if I liked ARASHI. She probably knew it because I added the word 'arashi' at the back of my facebook username. She also implied that Ohno was cute! She joked that Ohno was so old-fashioned to like fishing but it was a no-offence comment so I didnt really take it to my heart. I'm so happy! =D

Today, what I'm gonna share about was this review journal entry written by one of the LJ users, Guingel. The topic was feminism and Johnnys' Associates. As Johnnys' Associates only accepts male celebrites, that means they have more female fans to admire them. As such, female fans, who think that the words that came out from idols they liked's mouth was always true. Hence, they're usually affected by the type of female that their idols liked and trying their best to be like it...

Here is the link to the review journal entry if you want to read more and probably remind yourself: =D

P.S.: I understand that this may feel offensive to some of the fans out there, especially fans of ARASHI and also male celebrities from Johnnys' Associates. That was almost what I felt when I first read it. However, if you reflect on what the article has actually said, I'm not saying that whether you'll agree or not, but... what I'm trying to convey was that not everything said by the people we liked are always correct and we must follow it. Unique-ness comes from being yourself! =D
